homelessness: there's never just one story

Boing Boing shares this story from the LA Times. For me, it brings into question all of my assumptions about the homeless. Each homeless person has their own story, just like Charlie. You can discover that just by walking around the neighborhood surrounding First Pres' on a regular basis. Melvin's story isn't Joe Joe's. Joe Joe's isn't Norm's. And so on.

In my mind, this story forces questions about what makes us happy, what wealth and poverty are and about property ownership. Watch the video and share your thoughts. Its a beautifully shot, yet brief, piece.
